A lot of people ask why I have such an affinity towards Google+. “Why do you need it when you have facebook and twitter?” Granted, I could probably make the connections I seek using those two trusty tools, among others, but for whatever reason, Google+ made it much easier to pinpoint people that encompass topics that I hold dear.
The anticipation is KILLING me! Let me note that “day 13” refers to the number of calendar days since I started. On the stopwatch, it seems to be right on schedule with what I expected, 25-30 hours. Finding time to work on this thing has proven to be much more difficult than I thought, however I managed to make good progress today. I completed the extruder and got it mounted, now I’m just waiting on the replacement parts and then I’ll be just hours away from getting it running.
Love how much I can get done when there isn’t a dozen different people interrupting me! I probably only got 8 hours in on this project between Wednesday and Friday. Today, I got the frame assembled as well as the Z-axis drive. Tomorrow I will come in and work on X and Y.
